01 / Artisan Support

IN THE MID 20TH CENTURY, IT WAS EVERY WOMAN'S DREAM TO OWN A PIECE OF TAN CHAU SILK. THE HIGHEST LUXURY RESERVED FOR ROYALTY AND THE ELITE.

Yet, today, only one family remains crafting Tan Chau Silk the traditional way. We searched for over a year to find the 92-year-old artisan committed to sustaining the silk. Now, we are partnering with his family to share this historic craft and rehire a new generation of artisans to continue the art of Tan Chau Silk.

02 / Environmental Impact

ALL OUR SILK IS 100 PERCENT NATURAL AND DYED NATURALLY.

Due to deforestation, the fruits and vegetation used in the dyeing process are becoming increasingly rare. Through investing in land in Tan Chau, we are planting and cultivating native trees like the medicinal Mac Nua to ensure we can offer you the world's purest silk.

03 / Cultural
Preservation

TRADITIONAL CRAFTS ARE RICH SYMBOLS OF VIETNAMESE HISTORY AND CULTURE.

On a pivotal trip home to Vietnam, our Founder, Linh Kieu, fell back in love with the traditional arts she admired as a child. Yet as commercialization swelled, she saw these precious arts declining. It is near to our hearts that 10% of every purchase is donated to our fund supporting traditional Vietnamese arts and craftsmanship.
